Last week we celebrated University Press Week by displaying many books in the Oxford World’s Classics series. This week we feature books to celebrate the 410th birthday on November 26 of John Harvard whose bequest to the Massachusetts Bay Colony founded Harvard College. This is appropriate since OPB calls itself a “Harvard Square bookshop in Belfast, Maine.” Harvard University Press is especially renowned for its Loeb Classical Library series of dual language books in Latin and Greek, of which we have many.
